Lactic acid – has a pronounced moisturising and exfoliating effect. Lactic acid, penetrating the epidermis, eliminates dead skin cells, evens out its surface, relieves inflammation, brightens areas with excessively strong pigmentation, eliminates redness on the skin, stimulates skin cell renewal, and triggers collagen production. The advantage of milk peeling, in comparison with other types of peeling, is that it does not dry out the skin and restores the skin’s own defenses. Lactic peeling is effective for both dry and oily skin. When applying peeling, you must use a sunscreen with at least SPF 3O + + daily.
The instructions for almost all cosmetic products for chemical peeling recommend pre-peeling preparation. For 7-14 days before the procedure, use a cream with 15% phenoxy glycolic acid or a pre-peeling gel with AHA acids at night to prepare the skin, that is, to make it smoother and more susceptible to peeling. On the day of the procedure, we do not use cream and gel at night in the morning. Lactic peels should be started with a minimum acid exposure time, after having done a sensitivity test. With this option, the course of procedures is significantly increased to obtain a lasting and desired result.
Caution: for patients with dark skin, a procedure perception test is required before peeling.
